President

As president and principal partner of Riley Hayes, Tom believes building a great agency starts by finding great people who do great things together. His primary focus is helping the agency, its people and its clients achieve beyond their goals.

Tom founded Riley Hayes in 1991 on the strength of his success as a creative copywriter and business strategist. He takes particular pride in the ways Riley Hayes has been able to help clients, large and small, move their brands forward, all while surpassing their business objectives.

Nicole Pomerleau

Nicole believes the best media ideas come from building, not buying. An ad-industry veteran with an entrepreneurial spirit, one of Nicole’s many responsibilities is guiding the agency on new and emerging media strategies.

Before Riley Hayes, Nicole was Colle+McVoy’s Media Director where she helped launch Arrow, GroupM’s Mpls office managing all of Target’s media. At Fallon, she spearheaded the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas' media launches, and she lead the Bravo and USA Network accounts. Brands like Hugo Boss and Lacoste enjoyed Nicole’s energy and expertise while she was at Mediacom in London.

Though she frequents a yoga sculpt class in her free time, Nicole doesn’t want you to think she’s a health nut. She’ll have you know most of her meals involve wine and cheese.

Zaar Taha

Zaar is a Creative Director with an eye for the big idea and a knack for the perfect headline. He helps develop smart, powerful work for virtually every client on our roster, but leads on brands like Dunwoody, Nuvectra and Walgreens.

Before Riley Hayes, Zaar was a senior writer at agencies like Carmichael Lynch, BBDO Minneapolis and FAME. He's created award-winning work for household brands including Porsche, Harley-Davidson, and even SPAM.

When he's not filling up a google doc, Zaar’s filling it up on the basketball court. He’d like you to know his jumpshot is significantly better than yours.

Dan Hoedeman

Dan Hoedeman

VP // Account Management

An experienced leader of a very busy account team, Dan brings his passion for understanding the consumer to work every day. He believes it's the best way to ensure that insight drives action and action drives results.

Prior to joining Riley Hayes, Dan honed his strategic skill-set at other agencies like Fallon, Carmichael Lynch and Modern Climate, where he helped build great brands like Subaru, Intel, Subway, BMW and Dr Pepper.

When he's not buried in a brief, Dan is out kicking the soccer ball around with his three young boys, or with the old guys in a surprisingly well-organized beer league. (He helped organize it, surprise surprise.)

Mischelle Offerman

VP // Project Management & Resourcing

Mischelle believes in clearing the way for great work by creating calm through the right process. A highly resourceful, adaptable and team-focused pro, she oversees all projects, ensuring each is successful.

With two decades of agency experience, Mischelle has done it all. From print to digital, she's worked on major brands including FedEx, 3M, St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, Mayo Clinic, Lufthansa Group, Polaris Industries and Time Warner Cable.

When she's not busy obsessing over project timelines, Mischelle is decompressing in her garden or taking in the occasional concert.

Dave Plamann

Dave Plamann

VP // Finance & Operations

Dave believes a relational partnership always trumps a purely transactional one. He's responsible for maintaining the financial health and growth of Riley Hayes. With an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, he brings more than 20 years of financial, accounting and operational experience.

Prior to joining Riley Hayes in 2013, Dave brought fiscal leadership and direction to agencies such as OLSON, Integrated Advertising Network and Russell Herder.

When he's not reconciling balance sheet accounts and managing cashflow, Dave likes to run, swim, and spend time with his nine children. No, that's not a typo.

Eric Weiss

Eric makes certain each project is flawless, both strategically and conceptually, and sees to it that our clients' brand integrity is held to the highest standard. He brings strong leadership to clients like Delta, GAP and Insight Brewing.

Eric has 20 years of experience bringing big brands to life in innovative, impactful ways. Throughout his career, he's focused on building brand advocacy and delivering big for businesses like Target, Time Warner Cable and 3M.

When he's not swinging for the fences on the next big campaign, Eric's probably swinging a nine iron. Occasionally towards a fence.

Wendy Mills

Wendy Mills

Director of Administration

Wendy is basically the go-to person for all things Riley Hayes. She assists with human resources, office management, executive support, travel, facilities and hospitality. Her daily goal is to keep the trains running on time and provide exceptional support to the team, clients, vendors and guests.

Before joining Riley Hayes, Wendy put her passion for people to work at agencies like Olson and FAME. She has worked with all levels of leadership and almost every department in the agency organizational structure.

She'll admit she has a lead foot when it comes to driving the pothole-filled roads of Minneapolis, and is thankful to classical music for calming her and getting her safely to and from work each day. Other interests include outdoor adventures, tennis, travel, and donuts.

Anthony Ticknor

Anthony Ticknor

VP // Technology

Anthony prides himself on making sure the web works for people no matter who they are, where they are, or what device is in front of them.

He has been making websites professionally since that dancing baby gif was cool and has gained experience in software engineering and leadership from places like The Nerdery and James Tower. Throughout his career, he's focused on creating experiences with impeccable fit and finish for clients like Purina, JCPenney, Victoria's Secret, and the United Nations. While he's received many awards (including a Webby), he's most proud of his digital contributions to non-profit organizations in the local community.

When he's not busy floating flexing divs to the left, you can find him searching for the Twin Cities' best tacos and nitro coffee.
